If you’re looking for the best builder gel for your nail salon, you’ve come to the right place. The GelBottle is the original builder gel in a bottle aka BIAB™.
What is Builder Gel?
Builder gel is used to help add thickness and strength to either nail tips to create extensions or directly on the natural nail. The GelBottle builder gel is an all-in-one primer and base, so it could be used as a base coat before adding more gel polish on top for an extra layer of strength on the nails. Our full line of BIAB™ are soak-off builder gels.
GelPot Builder Gel
If you prefer the pot and brush method of applying builder gel, we also have a selection of GelPots. These are thicker than our BIAB™ and are ideal for sculpting long extensions or extreme nail shapes. All of The GelBottle GelPot’s are file-off rather than soak-off and they require a gel brush to apply.
How to Use Builder Gel
The TGB Builder Gels are for professional use only, so if you don’t have your nail tech license please shop our Peacci nail polish. To use Builder Gel in a Bottle, apply a thin layer of TGB BIAB™ over prepped nails. Cure the nails using the TGB nail lamp on low heat for 99 seconds. Once fully cured, add another layer on the nails, avoiding thick build up, and cure again. Repeat these steps for the third time and after your final cure you’re ready to refine the nails. Wipe with isopropyl alcohol and start refining and buffing the nails into shape using the TGB Pro E-File. Once dust is cleared, you can either apply a top coat or apply a gel color on top of the builder gel nails.
How to Remove Builder Gel
The GelBottle BIAB™ is easy to remove! First you want to file gently just to remove the top coat. Then, if you’re using our smartphone friendly nail clips, soak wipes in acetone and add to the inside of the clips. You’ll only have to wait ten minutes to soak off the builder gel and polish. If you want to use foils, add acetone to the inside of each foil wrap before applying and wait 15 minutes to fully soak off. Be sure to remove one nail at a time from soaking and use a cuticle pusher to remove any remaining soaked gel. In order to remove The GelBottle GelPot, you’ll need to file off rather than soak off with the TGB Pro E-File.
